I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but I’m asking for help for my sweet dog, Sasha. Sasha is a 15 year old rescue that has been part of my family since she was a puppy. She’s been by my side through every season of my life—moves, hard days, celebrations, and quiet moments. She has the most amazing personality, a gentle soul, and a loyalty that never wavers. She is truly family.
Over the past year, Sasha has required extensive veterinary care after being diagnosed with kidney disease. Between testing, medications, and ongoing treatment, her vet bills have added up quickly—but I’ve done everything I can to keep her comfortable and cared for. Recently, Sasha was diagnosed with eye cancer. The cancer is painful, and the only way to relieve her discomfort and protect her quality of life is to remove her eye through surgery. While this has been heartbreaking news, the surgery offers her the chance to live her remaining years pain-free and with dignity.
I’m starting this GoFundMe to help cover Sasha’s eye removal surgery and continued care. If you’re able to donate—even a small amount—it would mean the world to me and to Sasha. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as meaningful. Thank you for taking the time to read Sasha’s story and for keeping her in your thoughts. Your kindness and support truly mean everything.
