Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart to share the story of an extraordinary man, my uncle, Saroj, living in Nepal, who has dedicated his life to caring for others. He is not just a devoted son, husband, and father; he is a beacon of strength and love for the family. Unfortunately, life has thrown him a curveball that requires our collective support.

Recently, he suffered a severe fall, that resulted in multiple injuries to his back. The pain and challenges he now faces are unimaginable. After consulting with medical professionals, it became clear that he needs urgent surgery followed by extensive rehabilitation to regain his strength and mobility. He was brought to Kathmandu for his treatment and is hospitalised. This is a daunting journey, not just physically, but also emotionally and financially. Especially, when there is no insurance and everything is paid out of pocket.

As a primary caregiver for his elderly mother, Saroj has always put others before himself. He has been a steadfast support for his wife and daughter, ensuring they have everything they need. Now, as he navigates this difficult time, he needs our help more than ever. The costs associated with his surgery and rehabilitation are significant, and the burden is heavy on family.

We are launching this fundraiser to alleviate some of the financial strain he is facing.
