Hi. My name is Sue, and I'm fundraising to help Sarjit Patel. He was working in a pharmacy in Ajax, Ontario on February 16, 2022 when he was attacked by robbers. He has suffered head and facial trauma, and will be recovering for several weeks. He will not be able to work in order to earn money. As a temporary relief pharmacist, he has no insurance coverage through WSIB or other organizations, and as such will be struggling to pay his living expenses. It's also possible that he will incur medical expenses that are not be covered by OHIP.
