My cousin Sarina endured what no 27-year-old should have to. An emergent gallbladder surgery that should have been a singular procedure, same-day discharge, turned into a life-threatening, multi-procedure with a life-saving helicopter ride, and a multi-week stay in the hospital.
With the original expectation of returning to work one week after the gallbladder surgery, Sarina, Phil, and their 1 1/2-year-old daughter thought they would be set financially. Now, with Sarina in the hospital for about three weeks, soon-to-be totaling a month, and another procedure that will need to be performed in the next 3-6 months, they are falling behind financially.
With rent due, medical expenses mounting, and personal bills accumulating, they are seeking financial assistance. Even the smallest amount will make a significant impact for this family. Thank you for your help and consideration!
