Saria's Cataract Surgery

Hi everyone,

I would not usually start a GoFundMe, but I do need help.

Last month, I totaled my car driving home in the snow. While, thankfully, no one was injured, I've spent most of my savings and cash on hand toward buying a new car.

This Monday, I noticed milkiness in my Husky's right eye. After taking her to the vet, it was confirmed that Saria, at just 1-year-old, has cataracts in both of her eyes. Saria has already gone blind in her right eye, and is starting to lose visibility in her left.

I cannot imagine Saria losing her sight, especially so young. She loves exploring forests, the snow, playing with other dogs, swimming, and seeing her dog-cousins. I love her very much and want to help her as much as I can, which is why I am thankful that cataract surgery can restore her sight. The cost, however, is more than I can afford on my own, which is why I'm here on GoFundMe.

I'm asking for help in covering the cost of surgery for one of Saria's eyes, which would be $4,000. Any amount people can donate, though, would be really appreciated. If you can't donate, but can spread the word, that would also be very much appreciated!
