Meet Sargent – a gentle, resilient soul who has already beaten the odds and is now ready for his happy ending .

Sargent was rescued from the streets of The Bahamas, where he had been living in heartbreaking conditions and left to fend for himself. During a nonprofit spay and neuter campaign, a kind-hearted volunteer discovered him in rough shape, malnourished, neglected, and clearly in pain . Thanks to her compassion, Sargent began his healing journey and was lovingly nursed back to health.

He was first taken in by a local Bahamian rescue , where he received the urgent care he needed to stabilize. From there, he was transferred to BARRK in Long Island, NY, an amazing rescue that welcomed him with open arms. He’s now thriving in a foster home, learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family .

But before Sargent can find his forever home, he needs urgent dental care .

Years of neglect have taken a toll. His mouth is covered in plaque and decay, and he needs a deep cleaning along with several extractions. If left untreated, these issues could lead to painful infections and even serious complications that could shorten his life . This procedure is essential for his comfort, and his future health.

We’re hoping to raise $1,000 to cover the cost of this critical care . Every dollar will go directly toward Sargent’s dental procedure and help him continue on his journey toward a long, happy life ✨.
