Sarge is our 15-month-old German Shepherd, and he’s truly the best boy—sweet, affectionate, and wonderful with our three kids. He loves to play with his sister, Shadow, and brings so much joy and love to our family every day.

This past Saturday, Sarge went missing from our home, which was very unusual for him. We live in the country, so he and Shadow often roam, but they’re always back within a couple of hours. After searching for hours, my husband finally spotted Sarge limping in the middle of a field, struggling to make his way home. He rushed Sarge to the vet, where we learned that Sarge’s left front leg was completely crushed and would need to be amputated.

All the money raised will go directly toward Sarge’s vet bills for his surgery and recovery. If we are fortunate enough to raise more than what is needed, the extra funds will be donated to an animal shelter to help other animals in need. Sarge means so much to our family—he’s been a loyal companion and protector, and seeing him go through this has been incredibly hard. We are committed to giving him the care he needs so he can recover and continue living a happy life.
