My name is Tess and I am fundraising for my sister Sarena to help support her and her family through her Breast Cancer battle. 
 
This is something of course no one ever sees coming and everyone hopes never to have to go through, our hearts break watching and sitting on the side while she is on this journey. We are doing our best to support her and her family but now we are reaching out as they need a little more support.
 
Sarena is a mother and a person that I have always looked up to and been amazed with everything that she does on a day to day basis. She is a caring, driven, organized and hard working 32 year old. She has a loving husband and 3 beautiful children Luca (9 yrs), Abby (6 yrs) and William (4 yrs). Yes her real name is Sarena Serena! She is self employed running a successful house cleaning business and kept busy with numerous activities based around her kids. Their lives have now drastically changed. 
 
She was diagnosed with an invasive Breast Cancer in May 2021 and has jumped right into treatment. She is now a few months in to receiving Chemotherapy. With the treatments affecting her body she is required to take time off work to give herself the rest she needs.

It is very hard for her to let go of her cleaning services and clients. She is also terrible at asking for help but she is no longer able to keep up her services.  This is now significantly impacting her family finances.

She is scheduled to have a Double Mastectomy surgery with layers of lymph nodes removed at the end of November. Once she has healed partially from surgery she will begin Radiation Therapy daily for 6 weeks. Once that is over, she then will have a second surgery to complete her reconstruction. It’s a long process that requires a-lot of rest and healing…. And sitting still - which is something she has never been good at.
 
 
THIS IS BRUTAL, LONG and TAXING on her and her family. 
 
Any contributions will help them be able to stay afloat while she does the best to fight and take care of herself. We do not want her to focus on anything else but healing and we are not going to let her fight this alone!
