Help us keep brave Native Customary Rights campaigner Dennis Along out of jail after he has been fined RM10,000 for daring to challenge the Taib land grab at 'Royal Mulu' in court on behalf of his indigenous people.

RM10,000 (£1800) may not seem much to the likes of the wealthy politicians and businessmen who have made billions pillaging and plundering the native lands of Sarawak. However, it is far more than many of the people who have lost their lands to that plunder can earn in a whole year. It is also far, far more than Dennis himself, who is a desperately sick kidney patient who has bravely faced dialysis three times a week in hospital away from his home, can ever hope to pay.
We ask what happens to that treatment if he goes to jail?
Taib Mahmud could pay without noticing the money, but he has shown himself too cruel and lacking in magnaminity to reach out to those who seek to stand up to his greed. So, it must be the rest of us who move to help.
Please join Sarawak Report and give what you can to help Dennis Along and his people pay this RM10,000 fine as soon as possible.
