Help Sarai Get Through Cancer

On July 30th, 2022, our sister Sarai Elguezabal was diagnosed with High-grade B-cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma - at 39 years old, she was diagnosed with cancer.

We were holding her hand when the doctor shared the terrible news; within a matter of seconds, her world and our world as a family shattered. This cancer is aggressive and therefore is being treated aggressively; she was in the hospital for over a month receiving chemotherapy and struggling with the devastating side effects that came with it. She is finally back home and will continue the treatment as an outpatient.

Sarai has a long journey ahead of her (approximately nine months of chemotherapy), full of physical, emotional and financial challenges. We decided to start this fundraiser to help her with the financial burden associated with this process. Your contribution will help cover the expenses related to her care (food, rent, treatment, therapy, medical bills and so on).

Sarai is a soul full of light, a free spirit deeply connected with the things that truly matter. She lives life to the absolute fullest, with empathy and love flowing from her. This process is the most challenging of her life, but she is facing it with strength, positivity and hope. We are by her side, rooting for her every step of the way, and we trust that she will soon be back surfing the waves.
