Help Sarah's quest to beat cancer!

At the beginning of 2020, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a mastectomy, followed by chemo and radiation. Barely a year later, it was determined that it has metastasized. We are now on "part 2" of this battle.

It is a place where no one ever expects to find themselves, especially as a young mom with 2 small children. We need the most comprehensive aggressive plan we can come up with, and lots of prayer that God will use the combination of any number of things to bring about complete healing from this. Comprehensive includes conventional, integrative, and lifestyle changes (such as diet, exercise, stress management). We are researching various second opinion options such as some actual cancer centers for the conventional part of the plan. Integratively, I've connected with an experienced herbalist in Seattle who has formulated an individualized aggressive herbal protocol that will help to target the cancer, work synergistically with the conventional drugs, reduce some of their side effects, and also support the body through it. 

 

We greatly appreciate the love we have been surrounded with, the many prayers uplifting us, and other various forms of support and encouragement. A practical need that we do have though is a financial one. Most insurances unfortunately do not cover any integrative medicine. The integrative protocol is VERY expensive, and while we are budget-minded, we don't want to decide against parts of the treatment simply due to cost. However we cannot sustain the costs of the integrative medicine, medical expenses (once insurance resets at the beginning of the new year and we need to once again hit our out-of-pocket max), gas expenses in traveling to multiple medical appointments regularly, eating a clean diet full of organic whole foods, etc....all on one income.
