Hi, most of you who will read this know me, but for the hopes that some who don’t will; my name is Sarah Byrd.

My dad recently went into the hospital for a minor procedure on 3/28 that ended with him needing a double heart bypass on 3/31. While that surgery went fantastic, he’s now stuck on a ventilator, unable to breathe on his own, and put into a medically induced coma.

My dad has always been the strongest, most caring man I knew, even when he didn’t show it. No matter what, he has always shown up for those who asked, and now it’s my turn to show up for him.

For the past 3 weeks, my mom has stayed in the hospital with him, which has put them both out of work. While they’ve found temporary solutions to cover regular bills, we all know there’s only so much they can do. We are unsure of what these bills will look like so we started the funds with a guess number, anything will help! With that being said, my mom has never been one to ask for help, so I’m coming on here to do so.

My parents are currently raising two of their grandkids, my little brother, while also supporting my sister being in college; paying for her tuition and rent.
