Hello, my name is Jerrad, and I am writing this on behalf of my wife, Sarah, our daughter Emma, and our little family here in Amarillo, Texas.

In late 2025, our lives changed forever when my wife Sarah was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Since that moment, Sarah has faced more battles than most people could ever imagine, yet she continues to show strength and courage every single day.

In November 2025, Sarah underwent a major and life-altering surgery known as the Whipple procedure, one of the most complex abdominal surgeries there is. Since then, her journey has been filled with repeated hospitalizations and serious medical setbacks. She has battled sepsis and septic shock, painful liver infections, complications from chemotherapy, and countless days and nights in the hospital fighting just to recover enough to keep going.

Chemotherapy treatments that were meant to help have at times caused more harm than good, leading to further complications and making an already difficult fight even harder. Despite everything, Sarah keeps pushing forward for our family, especially for our daughter Emma, who looks up to her mom as her hero.

Because of Sarah’s condition and the constant need for care, I have had to step away from work to be by her side and care for our family. Between the loss of income and the overwhelming medical costs from surgeries, chemotherapy, hospital stays, medications, and ongoing treatments, the financial strain has become more than we can manage alone.

We live here in Amarillo without nearby family support, which makes this journey even more difficult. Many days, it feels like we are carrying this burden on our own while trying to stay strong for Emma and for each other.

We are asking for help to cover the mounting medical bills, treatment expenses, travel, medications, and everyday living costs while Sarah continues her fight. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping our family stay afloat during this incredibly challenging time.
