Any one who knows my sister Sarah, knows that her whole heart belongs to her fur baby - Toby.  He has seen her through the best and the worst of times and now the two of them could use your support. 

Sarah has been concerned about Toby's vision and after months of waiting to get in to see a Veterinary Ophthalmologist, she recently learned that Toby is blind and needs an expensive eye surgery to repair the issue.  Without the surgery, on top of the loss of vision, he'll also experience pain, increasing in intensity over time and it will eventually become irreversible.  With the surgery, his vision will be restored immediately and he will not endure the pain he'd experience without it.  

Toby's surgery is expected to cost $5,000.  The cost is pretty daunting given Sarah's recent career change and impending grad school payments.  While there will be additional costs for testing prior to the surgery and he will need eye drops for the rest of his life, the good news is that once he's had the surgery, there is no risk of the issue recurring.  

Sarah is one of the most proud and generous people I know and probably won't be very to happy to learn that I am reaching out to her friends and family for help. After she's planned the perfect murder and discarded of my body, she will be so very grateful for all of you. 

The surgery is expected to get scheduled in the next month.  If there's any way you can make a donation, no matter how small, it will go a long way in getting Toby back to his old self.  I'm hoping that if we band together, we can help defray the cost of the surgery so she's not carrying the weight of this burden alone.  

One last ask - I humbly request that you share this with fellow Sarah and Toby lovers, but not publicly.  Please share directly in texts, emails and messenger apps to limit the risk of Sarah catching wind of this fundraising campaign before we've met our goal.
