Hello everyone, this is not the most joyful time for my wife Sarah and myself.

Sarah's mother has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and has chosen to not receive treatment. This is a sad time, but the financial issue that we are facing is for Sarah to be able to go see her mother over the next 5-12 months that she will be with us. The distance between Charlotte NC and Jacksonville FL is not great but does take time, and money to do. Add to this that each visit will need to also include some type of lodging as there is not room for us outside a couch. While this can work, it is an imposition on them in an already stressed time of their lives.

We are not looking for an excessive amount, but Sarah is hoping to be able to visit at least once a month (if not more) and each visit can be between $300-$800 depending on how many of us (Sarah, Myself and our two collage age kids). If we could raise enough to offset this over the next year, it would be an amazing blessing for our family.
