Help Sarah Torres on her way to recovery

Hi everyone, I am Nicole Solis, one of Sarah’s best friends. On August 20, 2024, Sarah Torres’ life changed in an instant. What started as a traumatic car accident led to an even more unexpected and life-altering discovery. She was flown to San Antonio due to a brain bleed and the next day was diagnosed with Cerebral Cavernous Malformations (CCMs), a rare condition where clusters of abnormal blood vessels form in the brain or spinal cord. In her case, they found one in the left center of her brain.

For those who know Sarah, she’s the kind of person who brings light into every room. Deeply kind hearted, and fiercely compassionate. Who loves basketball, especially STEPHEN CURRY ( if you know you know ). Sarah has always taken care of her friends. Now, she’s the one who needs support.

Since her diagnosis, Sarah has faced a long and uncertain medical and life journey — including numerous tests, treatments, and appointments with her specialist. On June 17, 2025, her surgeon told her and her family that it needed to be removed after having another MRI done. Yesterday on July 9 they removed it successfully!! These unexpected health challenges have brought emotional and financial stress to her and her family. The cost of care is overwhelming, and it’s only growing.

Through all of this, Sarah has remained strong, hopeful, and full of love. You will always catch her saying a joke or two, even in the face of fear. However, we want her to know she’s never alone.
