My name is Sarah, and I am living with fibromyalgia and hyper-mobility spectrum disorder (HSD). Over the past few months, I have faced a series of respiratory infections, including bronchitis, which have left me feeling extremely weak and fatigued. These health challenges have caused many setbacks in my strength and daily routines, but I am committed to staying as active and healthy as possible. Working as a medical assistant means I am constantly on the move, and some days, it becomes incredibly difficult to keep up due to my symptoms.
Having a wheelchair would make a world of difference for me. It would allow me to move around my office with greater ease and help me accomplish more at home, like navigating the kitchen on tough days or taking my dog out for longer walks. This added mobility would help me maintain my independence, continue working, and care for myself and my pet, even on the hardest days.
I am deeply grateful for any support you can offer, and I want to thank you for taking the time to listen to my story. Life can be challenging, but I choose each day to get up and remain as hopeful as I can. Your kindness and generosity would mean so much to me as I work toward greater independence and well-being.
