I never imagined my health would deteriorate to the point where I could no longer function normally, but that is where I am now.
For months, I’ve been dealing with severe dizziness, fatigue, heart palpitations, nausea, weakness, rapid weight loss, panic attacks, and agoraphobia. I’ve gone from being fully independent and working full-time to relying on friends and loved ones just to get through daily life.
I’ve tried to manage this through outpatient care, but my providers and I have now determined that I need residential treatment for both physical and mental stabilization.
My immediate goal is to raise around $10,000 so I can actually enter treatment and stay afloat while I’m there. Part of that will go toward the insurance deductible I need to pay before treatment can begin, and the rest will help cover urgent bills and basic expenses while I’m unable to work.
A full month of treatment can cost around $30,000. Insurance may only approve the first 10–14 days, and after that I could be responsible for around $800 per day. If I raise more than my immediate goal, it will help cover additional treatment if insurance stops approving days.
Because my health has severely affected my ability to work, I’m also considering subletting my apartment and moving back home to Missouri after treatment.
Asking for help is incredibly difficult for me, but I genuinely cannot do this alone right now.
Any donation, no matter how small, helps me get closer to the care I need. And if you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean more than you know.
Thank you for helping me get a chance to feel like myself again.
