Sarah already did.

She built Utopia Dog Haven LLC from the ground up — a safe, loving space for dogs with special needs: behavioral challenges, reactivity, trauma, stranger danger, medical needs, and more. Dogs that others wouldn’t board, couldn’t manage, or had given up on.

At Utopia, each dog gets more than just a roof. They get:

Enrichment activities to support healing

Specialized diets to manage anxiety, allergies, or gut issues

And, above all, a human who never gives up on them

Sarah has supported countless rescue organizations, often waiving fees or allowing late payments to ensure dogs were safe. She’s taken in dogs at risk of euthanasia and continued to care for them even when the funding ran out — because it was the right thing to do.

Now Sarah needs us.

Her own dog is in emergency surgery, and the costs are piling up fast. She is already over $11k in bills, and he's still there waiting for answers. She’s the kind of person who always shows up for others — and we have a chance to show up for her.
