Hi, my name is Megan Fields and I am fundraising on behalf of my baby sister, Sarah Roberts.

On Tuesday, June 29th Sarah went to the Emergency Room on a particularly bad day for a persistent cough that she had for months. What she didn't know was that her trip to the Emergency Room would end in a 15 day stay for pneumonia and Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma Cancer. After running a variety of many different tests, they found a 5cm tumor in her right lung blocking her windpipe by 90%. They also found a tumor in her pelvic region.

After two weeks were spent being picked at, probed at, and having to go under operation after operation for multiple biopsies- Sarah also had to make the hardest, heart wrenching decision to end a pregnancy that she desperately wanted. Making that decision was harder than hearing the word, 'Cancer' for Sarah.

Sarah is a woman of great faith. She trusts in the Lord's plan, even when it's not her own. Her treatment will be long and hard but she is thankful for the opportunity that she has to fight for her life. She has a long road ahead of her and has already started the most aggressive Chemotherapy possible.

Sarah has so much to bear emotionally and physically, that we want to help ease the financial burden that is being placed upon her and her husband Cody as they face this illness together.

Our goal is to raise $40,000 to help with Sarah’s expenses, including:

-Chemotherapy

-Hospital stays and testing

-Out of pocket medical costs and deductibles

-Funds to make up for lost compensation due to leave from work

-Unforeseen charges / items not covered by insurance
