Help Sarah Regain Her Sight
In 2019, my wife Sarah suffered a devastating medical crisis that left her blind. The diagnosis was Non-Arteritic Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (NAION), and in a matter of minutes, everything changed.
Sarah has always been strong, full of life, and deeply rooted in faith. But losing her eyesight has been a daily battle — one filled with frustration, tears, and prayers for a breakthrough.
We now believe there’s hope.
A clinical trial called the Stem Cell Ophthalmology Treatment Study II (SCOTS2) is offering new possibilities for people with conditions like NAION. This study uses adult stem cells from a patient's own bone marrow, and it’s shown promising results, with up to 80% of patients experiencing improvement in vision.
But here's the hard part: The treatment costs $18,400 and is not covered by insurance. That amount includes the procedure, anesthesia, and the specialized care required. It does not include travel, hotel stays, meals, or other medical expenses, all of which we’ll also need to cover out-of-pocket, so we are praying to raise $20,000.
We are asking for your help.
Whether it’s a large gift or a few dollars, your donation goes directly toward the treatment that could restore Sarah’s sight. If you can’t give right now, please share this with someone who might.
We’re trusting God through all of this, and believing that healing is still possible. Your kindness, support, and prayers mean more than you know.
Thank you for walking with us through this journey.
