Hi everyone,

I’m coming here with a heavy heart, asking for help for my sister, Sarah Rowser, who is facing one of the most overwhelming and frightening chapters of her life.

Sarah is pregnant, and we are so grateful that her baby is okay—but everything else has been turned upside down.

She recently had to undergo emergency back surgery after a herniated disc grew to the size of a baseball, putting extreme pressure on her spine. It got so bad that she began losing feeling in her leg, could barely move, and was in constant, unbearable pain. What started as a car accident injury two years ago slowly progressed into something catastrophic.

Now, even after surgery, the reality is devastating. There is a possibility of permanent nerve damage. She is having to relearn how to walk. She is having to relearn how to use the bathroom. Things most of us never think twice about have become daily battles.

And the part that makes this even harder to process—Sarah is a nurse. She has spent her life caring for others, advocating for patients, and showing up for people in their worst moments. She is also a student, working hard to build an even better future for herself and her children. Now she’s the one who can’t work, who needs care, who needs help.

Doctors have told her she will be out of work for at least 6 months. Right now, she can’t provide for her family the way she always has, and the stress of that is weighing on her just as heavily as the physical pain.

She is still showing up as a mom to her two young children in every way she can—but the truth is, she needs support.

We’ve started this fundraiser to try to take even a small piece of that weight off her shoulders—so she can focus on healing, on her pregnancy, and on getting through each day without the constant fear of how she’s going to make ends meet.

Funds will go toward:

• Rent/mortgage and utilities

• Groceries and daily essentials

• Medical bills and ongoing recovery care

• Support for her children while she heals

I’ll be honest—this has been incredibly hard to share, and even harder to ask. So far, we’ve only received 3 donations. If you’re reading this, I’m asking you from the bottom of my heart to please consider helping if you can.
