Hello my lovely people,

I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but I find myself needing to ask for help.

Last Friday/Saturday, I suffered a stroke and was rushed to hospital. I spent four days in Intensive Care and am currently recovering on the stroke ward at West Middlesex Hospital.

This has been one of the most frightening and challenging times of my life. While I focus on my recovery, my wonderful son Ben has been looking after everything at home, including our dogs. To do this, he has had to reduce his normal working hours, which has put a real strain on our finances.

We are struggling to cover our rent, household bills, and the extra costs that come with my recovery. When I am discharged, I will need support with everyday tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and other household chores while I regain my strength and independence.

Our beloved dog Spot also needs veterinary treatment very soon. He has to be sedated for nail clipping because he becomes extremely distressed when anyone touches his feet, so this is an additional expense we are worried about.

As difficult as it is to ask, any help you can offer would mean the world to us. No donation is too small, and if you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would be just as appreciated.
