Hello, I'm Sarah's father. I'm starting this fundraiser to support my daughter Sarah who is in need of some help and support. This Gofundme is to help pay for the medical expenses that are being incurred as a result of what has happened to Sarah's dog, Bella. Bella is an unusual animal, as those who know her can attest, and when she fell ill last week Sarah's only concern was to determine why. There were many changes in mood, diet and physicality. The animal was simply not herself at all.

The vet ran a bunch of tests and told her to adjust the diet and gave her antibiotics. It didn't really change much, especially the obviously painful physical symptoms she was displaying, so back to the vet where, after much xrays and whatever else they do they found a mass in her spleen or thereabouts. Surgery was indicated immediately and Sarah didn't think of the expenses she was incurring, only that her dear companion was in mortal danger, and it was simply natural for her to use the professional resources available.

Which brings us to here. The bill from the vet is running 7500 dollars. Sarah is a responsible adult, but this event has been somewhat overwhelming. Sarah is facing a lot of challenges in addition to this currently, and Covid isn't helping the stress levels at all. This is simply a way to pay down this bill, which is a way to relieve some of the pressure.

Anything you can give will help. We hope the dog is out of the woods. They won't know the results for a week although they successfully removed her spleen and are doing a biopsy. Say prayers for Sarah and Bella.
