Help Sarah Mullen Rebuild Her Life

Hello, myself, Jennifer Swant (Sarah's friend), and Kari Porter (Sarah's cousin) are setting up this GoFundMe for Sarah Mullen to help her after going through a horrible attack by the man who was supposed to protect her. In the early hours of June 24th, Sarah's husband attacked her, stabbing her in the back. The miracle of this ordeal is the knife, while piercing the spinal column, did not sever a single strand in the cord and was 1 centimeter from her aorta. The slightest change in direction of the knife and this would be a very different outcome. Currently, Sarah is in the hospital healing from the attack; she will need physical therapy to regain full use of her left leg. This may require inpatient therapy. There are so many things with her healing still up in the air.

Not knowing at this time what her recovery will look like, she is preparing for 3 months off work. Because she is a hair stylist and standing on her feet all day, she will need full use of her leg.

If all Sarah had to do was heal from her injuries, that would be a lot, but she also now has to deal with the emotional and mental trauma for her and her kids who witnessed the attack. They will be relocating to a new home and setting up a new life, all of which will require expenses. She will not take her kids back to that home which she was planning to sell prior to this event.
