Help Sarah Leach's Dog, Kane

Hi everyone,

I am reaching out to you today to help my good friend, Sarah Leach. She will probably be angry with me for doing this but I see no other option.

Last night, Sarah's best friend, Kane was struck by a car in Dighton. Kane is a happy and healthy 4 year old German Shepherd. Kane suffered from a broken leg (in two spots), soft tissue damage, pulmonary contusions, and there is air in his heart.

He went to Mass-RI veterinary and was later transferred to a 24-Hour emergency hospital. Kane was on oxygen overnight and is now in need of surgery on his leg. His heart and breathing have started to stabilize.

Sarah has already paid out $1500 and needs to pay for the surgery in advance. She just received an estimate of $5000. This does not include his weekly follow up appointments. Please consider helping Kane and Sarah during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size is appreciated.
