Help Sarah Lange Recover from Severe Injury

Hello! My name is Ayla and I’m raising funds for my sister, Sarah Lange. Sarah was helping her dad hang siding when a 50lb steel ladder fell on her head.

Sarah didn’t know the extent of her injuries, so she continued working for a month. In October, she experienced horrific pain in her back and legs, and while at Urgent Care, paralysis overcame her legs and she fell. Sarah called the ambulance and was taken to the ER at Monument. It was determined that she had broken her neck from the accident. She has gone through 2 surgeries already. One on October 9, where she spent 2 weeks at a rehabilitation facility in Deadwood. Her 2nd surgery was October 30, and she spent a month at the Black Hills Rehabilitation Hospital in Rapid City.

Sarah needs help desperately with medical bills. Since she called for an ambulance, Oyate Health Center will not pay the $1900 cost. Sarah is working on qualifying for Disability and has run out of money for expenses and bills. She is currently recovering at my home and can only move around with a walker right now while in a neck brace.
