Help Sarah Honor Her Brother Matthew's Legacy

Hello everyone,

My name is Sarah Pauley. As some of you may have heard, my brother Matthew has recently passed.

As I am 23 years old, and because I was left in charge of making all of the arrangements and making sure that he can pass with peace, many of you have reached out to make sure I don’t do this alone.

My words cannot express how grateful I am for everyone who loved Matthew, and for every single one of you.

Matthew was the type of person to give someone the shirt off of his back if needed, and it’s comforting to know that so many of you that were in his life are wanting to assist where you can in a time like this.

I can see a piece of him in everyone I’ve spoken with, and it is an honor to be this close with him through his life and his death.

Everyone I know is doing everything they can to make sure that we lay him to rest properly, and it will be done regardless. I thought I would create this GoFundMe to give anyone else a chance or opportunity to assist in anyway they would like.

Anything donated will go towards the arrangements, catering, botanicals, and the funeral homes’ quick release autopsy and lab reports.

Right now, I think we are all just trying to hold on to any piece of closure that we can.

Thank you all very much for reaching out, and for holding my head above the water in all of this. I couldn’t do it without any of you.

Mostly, I want to thank all of you for leaving your mark in Matthew’s heart, and for cherishing the mark he left in return.
