Sarah Jackson and her sisters are facing an incredibly difficult time after the sudden loss of their father, Richard “Oakie” Jackson, December 1, 2025. Oakie was an artist who brought creativity and beauty into the lives of those around him. He was the proud father of four daughters—Melissa Irene Jackson, Sarah Marie Jackson, Jennifer Rae Jackson, and Heather Renee Jackson. Oakie was also a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

For many years, Sarah, her sisters, and Oakie lived apart, but recently they were finally able to reconnect and begin building the relationship they all wanted. Tragically, their time together was cut short, leaving them with a deep sense of loss and heartbreak.
