Help Sarah Heal After Devastating Accident

Hello, my name is Holly Rentschler and I’m setting up this fundraiser for my friend, Sarah Sorgdrager.

Sarah and her boyfriend, Tim, were riding his motorcycle this past Sunday afternoon. While out for an afternoon ride, they were hit by a car driven by a man who was both intoxicated and under the influence. They were rushed to the hospital. They both have suffered broken femurs. Sarah also has multiple other shattered bones, a ruptured spleen, lacerated liver, and internal bruising. We do not yet know when she will be released from the hospital.

As many of you know, Sarah is self-employed as a hair stylist. The doctors have said her recovery will be long. She is not allowed to bear any weight on her leg for at least 6 weeks, and her full recovery is likely to take 6 months or longer. This will put her out of work for quite a while.

Her friends and family have gathered together to try and help alleviate some of her worry. As anyone who knows Sarah, she is worried about getting back to work. We are trying to help ease her burden so she can focus on healing.
