I’m raising funds for my dog, Sarah. She is not just a pet to me, she is a gift from God. I prayed for her, and I was blessed with a puppy, and I named her Sarah. Recently, a police officer shot Sarah for no reason, and our lives were turned upside down. Since then, I have been trying to do everything I can to help her heal and stay safe while also facing the emotional and financial weight of what happened. Sarah now needs ongoing veterinary care, and I am also trying to get legal help so I can pursue action against the police department in New Mexico.

The support from this fundraiser will help with Sarah’s continued care over time, not just the first emergency bills. It will help me keep up with the veterinary treatment she still needs as she recovers, and it will also help cover a hotel stay for about a week so she can heal in a clean place away from the desert dirt where we live, which could infect her sutures. It will also help me contact and retain a lawyer as I try to seek justice for Sarah.
