Stephanie & Jesse Wenker welcomed their 3rd child, a beautiful, healthy baby girl, Sarah Grace on Nov. 13, 2024! Waiting at home were her 2 big, super excited brothers, James(5), and Levi(2.5)! After the Thanksgiving holiday, Sarah had her first emergency ambulance ride due to having extreme difficulty breathing. Sarah was admitted with the diagnoses of RSV, and was placed on ventilators for oxygen. Days are going on weeks, and this little fighter has been at the hospital longer than at home. Sarah then developed hepatitis, needed a blood transfusion, and has had multiple lung collapses. She was transferred to Children’s Minneapolis and is now is on ECMO (lung bypass) waiting for her lungs to heal. She’s keeping mom and dad and all the family and friends on their toes for sure! Grandma/grandpa, friends & neighbors are helping when possible, but mom and dad are tired. They are requesting all the prayers we can offer more than anything, but also could use a little extra help with gas to and from Children’s, parking costs at the hospital, meals, and medical expenses.
