Hi. My name is Sarah and I am a 14 year old student at the King Edmund School in Rochford. I have been given an amazing opportunity to take part in a life-changing humanitarian expedition to Tanzania in East Africa.

For one month during the summer of 2021, we will be travelling between four villages, offering support to the local villagers, most of whom are living so far below the poverty line, they have never even heard of the luxuries that I have become accustomed to.

During our four week stay, we will be helping other volunteers and leaders to perform an array of tasks such as:

* House building and homestead support
* Helping to build/renovate local schools
* Improving poor or non existent sanitary conditions
* Conservation, such as improving natural waterholes
* Removing invasive plant life
* Safeguarding the future of local wildlife

In order to fulfil this incredible opportunity, I need as much help as possible to raise the £4,520 needed to make the trip. I therefore will be holding several fund raising events and activities, all of which can be seen on my website at www.sarahcomery.com
