HELP SARAH FIND SAFETY AND HEALING
Our dear friend Sarah is in the hospital - but when she is discharged, she will return to a situation that is not sustainable for her health or safety, where she is forced to live in a tent or car due to severe environmental sensitivities.
Sarah’s friends are starting this GoFundMe because we are deeply worried about her health and living situation. Without urgent financial help, she cannot secure a safe place to stay or focus on recovering from debilitating mold-related illness and Lyme disease.

Sarah lived a full and active life before she was hit by a series of health challenges that have made life extremely difficult for her. She was a competitive athlete, a Registered Nurse working full-time, and a devoted single mom to her special needs son. She dedicated her life to caring for others, and now she needs our help to get the care she deserves.
Today, Sarah is gravely ill and unable to work. After mold exposure and Lyme disease, she developed extreme environmental sensitivities that make it very difficult for her to tolerate indoor spaces.
As a result, Sarah spends much of her time living in a tent, doing her best to manage basic day-to-day survival. Due to changing temperatures and air quality, she is often forced to relocate. The physical demands of packing up camp, traveling, and setting up again can be overwhelming and, at times, beyond her ability. During this time, her mother has stepped in to care for her son.
Those who know Sarah know her for her warmth, her resilience, and the joy she brings to others - even in the middle of her own struggles. Despite everything, she continues to fight for her health and for the chance to be reunited with her son.
Right now, Sarah is in the hospital receiving urgent care. When she is discharged, she will need to travel hundreds of miles to reach a location where she can safely stay through the summer months. She has a destination where she is welcome to camp for free, but she will need reliable transportation - either a rented or purchased vehicle - as well as help making the journey.
