In the early hours of this morning, my friend Sarah’s house and caravan were destroyed by fire in Chittaway. Thankfully, Sarah and her two girls, Elouise (9) and Poppy (3), were staying with her parents in Sydney at the time and are safe.

Sarah is a single mum, and while they have full insurance, they’ve lost everything in their home. The insurance process will take time, and right now they need help replacing clothes, toiletries and everyday essentials, as well as covering the unexpected costs of the weeks ahead.
