My Name is Amanda and I am reaching out to you today to ask for your support and generosity for my best friends mom Sarah and her children. Sarah, a loving mother of 4 & grandmother of 5, has been battling a severe case of Viral & Bacterial Pneumonia and COVID, which has led to respiratory failure. She was admitted to Sovah Health of Martinsville on 8/29. She was placed on a ventilator on Friday 9/1 and life flighted to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Sarah has developed MRSA in her lungs and become septic. She is currently fighting for her life on a ventilator at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Virginia.

Sarah's journey has been incredibly challenging, but amidst the struggle, there is hope. The dedicated staff at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital have noticed a significant improvement in Sarah's condition when her children are by her side.
