Sarah Burton Horse Riding Accident Recovery!
Donation protected
Sarah Burton is one of the kindest, most selfless, thoughtful people in the world. She regularly goes out of her way to help and bless others. If you need her, and she can help, she will be there. She is a hard worker, and loves to have fun! She has worked for the Rockin' R Ranch in Antimony Utah for the last several years and has enriched the lives of many!
On Saturday, August 1st, Sarah was in a horse riding accident. The horse she was riding stumbled and she fell and hit her head on a rock. She was taken by ambulance to Panguitch, and then taken by life flight to St. George. She has severe head injuries, including multiple fractures, a broken jaw, and an epidural hematoma (outer brain bleed). Thus far, the brain bleed has not increased in size or caused much of a mid-line shift in her brain, nor has the swelling and pressure necessitated bore holes. There is no apparent spinal injury, and Sarah is able to move all of her limbs. She has been sedated to prevent her from trying to remove her ventilator, and has, as of yet, not been able to speak.
After an accident of this nature, many physical, emotional, and financial difficulties tend to arise. There is certainly a long road to recovery ahead. If you're able to donate to help with expenses, it is greatly appreciated. If not, your prayers and support for Sarah and her family are still greatly appreciated.
