On June 13th, Sarah was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. It's operable with a lifetime cure rate if she undergoes the surgery now. She is getting a bilateral mastectomy with reconstructive surgery on September 12th.  If you don’t know anything about this surgery, it’s an extensive one that requires about a week long hospital stay and a two month recovery period. During those two months, she won’t be able to work and doesn’t qualify for other benefits like short-term disability. Please help her and Tony through this time.
