I am the loving mother of a wonderful, active, and beautifully curious 1 year-old son who truly is the joy of my life. Right now, we are facing some tough financial challenges, but I am hopeful with a little help, we can get back on our feet.

Currently, we are living in a high-cost extended stay hotel, which makes it nearly impossible to save any money for a better future. How did we get here? Well, the apartment complex that I have called home for the past eight years, was bought by a large property management company. They placed notices on our doors that they were going building-by-building, making everyone move out, gutting and remodeling the apartments entirely, labeling them as luxury apartments, and doubling the rent.

I am reaching out for help because I need assistance raising funds for a deposit for an apartment, as well as first and last month's rent. In addition, I am hoping to raise enough to buy a used car or at least have a down payment for one.

Having a stable and affordable place to call home would mean everything to us. It would give my son and me the security and peace of mind we need to move forward. A reliable car would also make a huge difference, allowing me to drive my baby to and from daycare, get to work, and take care of our daily needs like grocery shopping. These changes would help us build a more stable and hopeful future.
