Hi everyone,

My husband and I recently went through something we never imagined: we were hit by a reckless driver, and our car was completely totaled. We had just moved back to Florida, starting a new chapter as newlyweds and starting new jobs, and now we’re facing major setbacks.

Praise the Lord we both made it out alive, but the accident has left us injured, shaken, and struggling to get back on our feet. Our insurance will not cover a replacement vehicle. Without a car, my husband and I are struggling with commuting to our jobs and we’re trying everything we can to stay afloat while we figure out transportation, repairs, and medical bills.

This has been especially difficult because this isn’t the first time something like this has happened — less than a year ago, I was hit by an impaired driver who ran a red light while I was crossing the street. I am still healing from that experience when this new accident and injuries happened.

We’re grateful beyond words for our safety, but the financial and emotional toll has been overwhelming. We’re asking for help to cover the cost of a reliable replacement vehicle, and to stay on our feet while we rebuild from yet another accident we didn’t cause.
