Monday night Sarah woke up to a fire alarm and smoke filling her apartment. Luckily she was able to grab Luna and get out but only with the clothes on her back. The neighbor she shared a wall with sadly was not so fortunate and passed away. According to the firefighters, the fire was minutes from entering her room. Even though there was no direct fire damage, smoke damage has ruined pretty much everything. Sarah will be starting over, beginning with essentials such as bathroom toiletries, clothes, food and eventually furniture when she finds a new place to live. That being said, any contribution will be greatly appreciated and extremely helpful. Sarah is always the first to want to help anyone in need so I’m hoping this will help her get a little normal back into her life.
