Help Sarah and her Kids Recover after the Eaton Fire
Donation protected
Dear friends,
I’m reaching out to ask for your support for someone truly special—my dear friend Sarah and her two wonderful children, Evie 10 and Foxen 7.
On January 7th, their lives were turned upside down when the Eaton Fire forced them to evacuate their home in Altadena. Though their home still stands, the garage and backyard are destroyed and it is located deep in the burn zone. The surrounding devastation has severely polluted the air and water, and their home is filled with smoke and ash, requiring them to replace most of their belongings.
The recovery process in the area will take years, and the pollution from ongoing cleanup and reconstruction has made it impossible for Sarah and her children to return home for the foreseeable future—likely two years.
Sarah is one of the most generous, selfless, and compassionate people I’ve ever met. As a single mom putting herself through graduate school to become a therapist, she has always dedicated herself to helping others. Now she faces the overwhelming challenge of starting over, providing a safe and stable environment for her family, and continuing her education—all while navigating the emotional toll of this disaster.
This is where we can make a difference. The funds raised will go directly toward a fresh start.
Sarah is not one to ask for help, but this is a moment when our community can come together to uplift her and her family during their time of need. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact and provide them with the stability and hope they need to move forward.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and kindness. Let’s show Sarah and her children that they are not alone in this journey.
With love and gratitude,
Casey
