Help Sarah and her father with medical expenses

Hello, My name is Penelope Bledsoe and I am raising funds for my friend Sarah Heras and her father. Donations are for the care and convalescence of Sarah's father who came to California from Alcala de Henares, Spain (first time on an airplane) to visit his daughter and her family and experienced a massive heart attack.

Sarah's father's name is Jose Heras Martinez. He arrived in San Diego on December 16 to spend the holidays with his family . Since one of his lifelong dreams was to visit Las Vegas, a couple of days after his arrival they drove to Las Vegas. Shortly after arriving there, he suffered a massive heart attack and has had triple bypass surgery. He is on the mend, thankfully.

Once he is released from the hospital, he will come to Sarah's home to convalesce until he is well enough to travel to Spain.

Sarah and her family have already had and will continue to have tremendous expenses which will not be reimbursed.

They need our help and support.

Please donate to help this family pay for health care services, transportation, physical therapy, wheelchair, walker and of course prescribed medications. These expenses are not covered by our health system for a foreigner traveling in the United States. The donations will be used exclusively for Mr. Heras' care, convalescence and transportation.

Sarah is a close friend. She is a Spanish woman who has made her adult life in the United States; is married and mother of two young children; is a contributing and involved member of our community; and a skilled and compassionate Spanish teacher. She is a blessing to our community and needs our help.
