Sarah Wilmot is a devoted wife, loving mother to five amazing children (ages 11, 9, 6, 4, and 1), and a woman of unbreakable faith.
In May 2025, our world turned upside down when Sarah suffered a major stroke. For the next six months, she fought relentlessly through therapy and determination, slowly reclaiming her strength and returning pieces of normal family life to her home.
Then, in October 2025, symptoms returned. Scans revealed a brain bleed—and the heartbreaking discovery of an aggressive diffuse midline glioma, a rare and serious brain tumor. During a routine biopsy, the tumor caused severe hemorrhaging, plunging Sarah into a coma. Doctors warned us she might never wake up.
But God had other plans.
Sarah woke from the coma. Against every grim prognosis, she began intensive rehabilitation while starting cancer treatments. Day after day, she’s shown incredible progress—regaining functions, smiling with her kids, and holding onto hope. Her spirit inspires everyone around her.
The Latest Chapter – and Our Urgent Need
Sarah is now at a turning point: she’s ready—more than ready—to come home to her husband Tim and their five children. Home is where healing feels most real, surrounded by the love and chaos of family life.
To make that possible safely, she requires ongoing IV antibiotics to treat a current infection. While insurance covers some in-home care, the options are limited and quickly exhausting. Tim will need to hire a private in-home care company for the additional skilled support Sarah needs. This private care comes with substantial out-of-pocket costs—costs this family cannot bear alone while facing mounting medical expenses, therapy, and cancer treatments.
The mountain before them is steep. The diagnosis is aggressive, and the future uncertain. Yet Sarah, Tim, and their children cling to faith. They believe in miracles. They believe God is bigger than cancer—and bigger than any bill or barrier.
How Your Support Makes a Difference
Every donation will go directly toward:
• Private in-home nursing and care to allow Sarah to safely transition home and continue her recovery.
• IV antibiotics and related medical supplies not fully covered.
• Everyday family needs so Tim can focus on caring for Sarah and the kids without added financial stress.
Your generosity will give this family breathing room to be together, to heal, and to trust God for full restoration.
We are overwhelmed by gratitude for this community. Your prayers, kind messages, shares, and donations have already carried us further than we thought possible. Thank you for standing with us in faith and love.
If you can help—whether with a gift of any size, a share with your network, or simply lifting us up in prayer—please do. Miracles happen when people come together.
