Early this morning, tragedy struck when Sarah McCuddy's home was completely destroyed in a sudden house fire. While we are deeply grateful that no one was inside at the time, the heartbreak is unimaginable — Sarah’s two beloved dogs, cherished members of their family, were inside the home and did not survive.

Sarah is one of those rare people who consistently shows up for others. She is kind, thoughtful, and always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needs it. Whether it’s friends, coworkers, or someone she just met, Sarah gives without hesitation. Today, she and her daughter Hannah need the same kindness she has always offered others.

As a single mother with Hannah in high school, Sarah now faces the overwhelming reality of having to start from scratch. Their home, belongings, clothing, and everyday essentials are gone. They will need support for temporary housing, clothing, food, school necessities, and the many unexpected costs that come with rebuilding a life after a total loss.
