Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Strangers,

We have had several ask us (and our friends) if there was a GoFundMe, or a way to make monetary donations, to help with medical and living expenses, and meals. While we were reluctant to establish a GoFundMe, we realize that it would offer an additional way to help us. Please do not feel obligated to donate. A meal train will also be established as another way to help.

On March 21st I was diagnosed with oral cavity cancer (tongue) which lead to more testing throughout April. On May 1st I underwent my first surgery to have cancer cells removed from my tongue, neck, and thyroid. Since then I've had an additional surgery, testing, and several office visits. On June 24th I will begin radiation and chemotherapy treatments. These treatments will take place over the course of six weeks.

Your generous contribution, no matter the size, will make an impact on my fight against cancer. Funds will directly support my medical expenses, treatments, and daily living costs as we navigate through this journey. It will help provide me and my family the support and encouragement needed to stay strong and focused on treatments and recovery.
