Sarah is my sister and my best friend. Sarah has always loved children. Through countless summer jobs, volunteer positions and now as an Elementary School teacher, Sarah has shared her heart, support and passion with hundreds of children. She is a strong mentor and has devoted her life to helping children succeed.
Chris has a natural and charismatic ease with children. Growing up with a younger sister and cousins, Chris was not only their source of fun and entertainment, but also a kind, genuine role model. Children are drawn to his approachable, fun-loving personality, and Chris never tires of sharing his spirit and positive attitude.
Sarah and Chris have been together for eleven years and have been happily married for almost five. Three years ago they decided to become parents, but unfortunately this has been far from easy or straightforward. Sarah and Chris recently underwent an unsuccessful round of in vitro fertilization (IVF) and are now faced with undergoing a second round of IVF (which is not covered by provincial insurance) that will result in further financial burden. Despite this, they are optimistic and hopeful that this next round of IVF will be instrumental in creating the family that they have envisioned.
A donation, however small, would greatly help Sarah and Chris as they enter this next round of IVF. Sarah and Chris deeply appreciate how fortunate they are to have so many caring, supportive family and friends.
