In November of 2020, our sweet Sarah contracted COVID-19. While we all expected rapid recovery for our otherwise health friend, we soon discovered that Sarah’s battle with COVID-19 was just beginning. 

Sarah is what’s known as a COVID long hauler. As a result of the virus, she now suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome, POTS, and various other health complications. 

Prior to COVID, Sarah lived in Chicago, was a graduate student in social work, and held both internships and a job at Trader Joe’s. Since contracting the virus, she’s moved home to West Virginia to be under the care of her family. 

While Sarah is making small improvements, she still has a long way to go. She faces hospital and medical bills, prescriptions, supplements, and student loans. 

Despite all of her challenges, Sarah works hard to stay positive and continues to be the bright, warm, and loving person we all know.
