Help Sarah Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro
Donation protected

Hi everyone,
My name is Sarah Gowdey, I'm an Australian and I'm 11 years old.
I have decided to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro this Dec 2018 with my mum and a small group of experienced climbers from the Amazing Trekkers Club (ATC). Mum and I are climbing to help create awareness and raise money for Ovarian Cancer Research. It will be a 7 day climb, up to an altitude of 5900 meters. I'm climbing Kilimanjaro to help the fight against cancer.
My Grandma, Toni Planinsek who I love very much, has Ovarian Cancer and it was diagnosed in 2017. She is having her 2nd chemo treatment at the moment and she is the most positive and strongest person that I know, nothing can stop my Grandma. I'd like to help the Ovarian Cancer Research team in Australia find out more about this type of cancer and discover new ways to help prevent this disease.
I will be training hard over the next few months with my mum and I will keep you up dated.
Thank you for your support! This climb is dedicated to my Grandma who we all love very much.
