Hi there!
My name is Sara Roderick and I'm an athlete on the United States World Cup Skeleton team, vying for a spot on the 2026 Winter Olympic Team.
I'm originally from Truro, Massachusetts, but now reside in Vermont with my husband and rad dog, Smudge. (Please see below!)
As one of the few partially funded athletes, I'm expected to train and race the same as my teammates who are receiving twice the amount of funds and stipends—crazy, right?! Good thing I love what I do and many of the people I do it with.
Our expenses rack up quickly, regardless of funding. In order to get better at this sport, you have to work outside your means. I've already racked up a bill from my pre-season training and your help would mean the world.
I work 10-20 hours a week on top of training during the season in order to keep my credit cards in check and food on the table. Dramatic? Maybe—but it's also the truth.
I'd love if you'd help me on this journey to Cortina 2026 to represent the United States and the good that exists here.
If you're interested in becoming a partner with either myself or USA Bobsled and Skeleton, please reach out to me directly. I'd love to partner with someone or a small business- especially those that believe in the power of women in sport, mental health or local to my communities. If that sounds like you- I'd love to rep your brand for the 2025-2026 World Cup Season.
Thanks y'all and go Team USA!!
